I have over 30 years of experience as a consultant, trainer, and coach, with an emphasis on helping individuals, teams, and organizations remove barriers to achieving their full potential. I've written six books and many articles focusing on personal, interpersonal, organizational, and spiritual growth. My article, "Evaluating Organizational Values" (see Books/Articles page), received the 2005 outstanding O.D. Journal article of the year award. All of my workshops, consulting and coaching services, and instruments are based on concepts presented in my published works.
Over my career I've been a staff and line manager, university professor, internal consultant, external consultant, psychotherapist, and business owner.
I've worked with a wide variety of organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
I hold B.S. and M.A. degrees from Arizona State University, and an Ed.D. in counseling psychology from Rutgers University, with a specialization in
group process. In addition, I'm registered as an O.D. Professional by the International Registry of Organization Development Professionals, licensed as a clinical professional counselor by the Maryland State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, and certified
as a trainer by the International Board of Certified Trainers, Inc.
